Index of Gigs in 2018

Wednesday, February 14^th (Valentine’s Day) at 7 p.m., we have a gig at
Villagia in The Glebe: Retirement Home for Freedom of Way-of-living.
Note: This gig has been cancelled because of renovations at their building.

Lee has picked Sunday, May 27th, 7 p.m. for our annual concert.
More details (and tickets) when we get closer to the date.

We have a gig on Wednesday, November 21st, at 7 p.m. at
The Villagia in The Glebe Retirement Community, 480 Metcalfe Street,
to entertain their residents at 7:15 p.m. for about 30-35 minutes.
It’s the tower block on the corner of Pretoria and Metcalfe, opposite Loblaws.

Wednesday, February 14^th Gig
(St. Valentine’s Day)

Note: This gig has been cancelled because of renovations at their building.

WHEN: Wednesday, February 14, 2018 (Valentine’s Day)
Arrive between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m.,
perform at 7:15 p.m. for about 30-35 minutes.

WHERE: Villagia in The Glebe (formerly The Palisades Retirement Residence)
480 Metcalfe Street, between Pretoria Avenue and Isabella Street.

N.B.: Everyone must sign in and out at the Reception Desk.
We’ll be directed to a coat room on the 2nd floor
that is just outside the Ballroom where we’ll be performing.

The parking lot entrance is on Pretoria Avenue west of Metcalfe Street.
We are welcome to use any available spots.
Pretoria is one-way westbound; Metcalfe is one-way northbound.

OC Transpo Route 101 is an option.

DRESS: Solid bright colour on top (no patterns, but the Lee Hayes VOX logo
would be fine), black bottoms, dark shoes, and “lots of bling”.
Suggestion: wear red in the spirit of Valentine’s Day.

Sunday May 27^th Annual Concert

The concert will be at 7.pm. at the Sunnyside Wesleyan church.
Please show up by 6 p.m. to prepare.

As usual, all the profits will go to the Ottawa Humane Society.

DRESS: Solid bright colour on top (no patterns, but the Lee Hayes VOX logo
would be fine), dark bottoms. Be comfy! Ladies, bling!

SCENT: Please refrain from wearing scent of any kind.
This includes scented hand creams, hair products,
and clothes that have absorbed scent from dryer sheets.

PAYING FOR TICKETS: Please make payments for tickets in cash
(or return unused tickets) at the ticket table.

5. Attendance awards, then the final song in the round, Close Your Eyes (Lee and Silas)
   I know we have done this the last two concerts, but it is special,
   and a lovely way to end the night. It’s kind of ‘Our Song’.

POST-CONCERT PARTY: Don Westwood and his wife Anneli have kindly
offered their home, 66 Hopewell, for a pot-luck party after the concert!
You can drop off food items before the concert, or bring them afterward.

The gig will be at 7 p.m. at the The Villagia in The Glebe Retirement Community.
Arrive between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m., perform at 7:15 p.m. for about 30-35 minutes.

WHERE: Villagia in The Glebe (formerly The Palisades Retirement Residence),
480 Metcalfe Street, between Pretoria Avenue and Isabella Street.

N.B.: Everyone must sign in at the Reception Desk on arrival and
sign out on departure. We’ll be directed to a coat room on the 2nd floor
that is just outside the Ballroom where we’ll be performing.

Pretoria is one-way westbound; Metcalfe is one-way northbound.

Car-pooling is suggested.

DRESS: Solid bright colour on top (no patterns, but the
Lee Hayes VOX logo would be fine), black bottoms, dark shoes,
and “lots of bling”. Please avoid scents completely.

RENDEZ-VOUS AFTERWARD: (if you wish to get together)
Clocktower Brew Pub,
575 Bank Street, between Pretoria Avenue and Isabella Street.
(The standing reservation at the Barley Mow will be cancelled on this occasion.)
